This outfit is inspired by the character of the black swan. The group gathered unwanted items of clothing, deconstructed and reimagined them.

They took the leather pleated skirt from a dress and used it as a poncho, adding a button and elastic to fasten it. They repurposed tulle and ribbon hair accessories, adding them to the poncho to create sleeves as well as adding them to the skirt for extra length. They also turned their base skirt inside out to make the lining visible, adding to the layered effect which is a key design feature of this outfit.

The group created flowers from tulle to decorate the skirt, adding a delicate and textured embellishment. The belt is made from three scarves and adds a splash of colour to the outfit. And lastly, the group created a choker made from velvet and ribbon harvested from the unwanted items selected for this piece.
