For this outfit, our young designers set out to prove that old, unwanted clothes can become stylish party wear.
Inspired by online designs, the team chose a striking black and gold theme.
They sourced second hand garments from a local charity shop, carefully deconstructed them, and reused the fabric to create their outfit.
Using a paper pattern, they cut and sewed the pieces into a chic top and asymmetric skirt. Gold trim and floral embellishments add glamour to the top, while a gathered gold panel finishes the skirt with flair.
