Brigh Harkin

Presentation Castleisland

Brigh created this half and half look by reviving two worn out shirts belonging to her dad and uncle. She started by removing the collars on both shirts and then cutting them in half at the back.

With the unused half of each shirt, Brigh created a skirt to lengthen her dress.

The skirt is attached to the top underneath, giving it a contrasting layered look.

Brigh also used the sleeves that were removed to create a belt feature. The front of the dress has been decorated with scrap fabrics and buttons collected by Brigh's teacher, for that last bit of extra flair.
