Alice in Winterland

This group already had experience in making and altering their clothes and were excited to make an outfit entirely from preloved textiles. They sourced some of the materials from their school - old damaged costumes from drama projects that were no longer wanted and were about to be thrown away. They also collected bags of unsellable clothing from their local charity shops to use for their outfit. The items they gathered included a blue dress, jeans, a denim jacket and a blue shirt.

Working with the theme of Alice in Wonderland, the group used TikTok and Pinterest to develop ideas and created a moodboard and sketch to plan out their design.
